Single Autumn Leaf
USD $150.00
Autumn is a second spring when every leaf is a flower.
– Albert Camus
Inside of us there’s a continual autumn. As we watch leaves fluttering to the ground in the fall, we are reminded that nature’s cycles are mirrored in our lives. Autumn is a time for letting go; of releasing things, we no longer require or have grown away from. Autumn is the right time to practice getting out of the way and letting Spirit take charge of our lives.
By contemplating and meditating using a mantra we are empowered to go within and let go of things like hate, envy, anger. We begin to recognize our true divine nature which is love for one’s own self and everyone else.
Inspired by the above sentiment, this pastel and pen painting reflects on the power of the word Waheguru – ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ – is pronounced “Wah-hay-guroo.” Wah means Infinite, hay means Thou, and Guru means Higher Self, or the Divine Teacher within each sentient being. Cultivating a mantra helps the conscious to unfold and let go of things that can keep us from blossoming.
This is the mantra which has been lovingly handwritten minutely in the painting to portray the omnipresent Divine energy.
