Mool Mantra: The Precious Gift of Nanak

USD $100.00

Upon enlightenment at the age of 30, Nanak (1469-1539) the first Sikh Master uttered the Mool Mantra – the essence of the rest of the Sikh Holy Scriptures. The Mool Mantra seems to be just a group of adjectives describing Divine Presence but they are like seeds that break open to reveal hidden roots. Or perhaps we can call the Mool Mantra the key which unlocks the treasury within.

Each line describes a state of consciousness. Understanding that state becomes a pre-requisite to developing an understanding of the state of consciousness described in the next line.

With practice and through an inner awareness the consciousness begins to intuitively realize the Omnipresence, Omniscience and Omnipotence of the Universe; a process through which awareness of the Divine Within slowly comes to fruition.

The Waheguru (vwihgurU) mantra written all over the paintings in these series are a testimonial to that very omnipresence.
