Majestic Spirit of the Khalsa

USD $300.00

Cultivated in stillness, silence and solitude
The intense gaze both outwards and inwards
Ever watchful, aware of worldly distractions
Yet deeply grounded in the omnipresence
The Majestic Spirit of the Khalsa roars silently!

Masterful, courageous, strong,
Powerful, royal, unique, passionate
With a golden noble inside
Expressing magic within
The Majestic Spirit of the Khalsa roars silently!

The Khalsa embodies all these admirable qualities.
How perfectly does the name ‘Singh’ or lion represent the Spirit of the Khalsa!
Patient, humble (a lion never roars after a victory) yet when required its roar can be heard miles away!

Guru Gobind Singh, the Tenth Sikh Master initiated the Khalsa on Vasaikhi in 1699 and gave them the Singh/Kaur names to infuse His Sikhs with all these noble and aristocratic values to combat caste driven prejudices. He asked each one to remember their true selves – to be the warriors of the Light through intense contemplation and cultivation and the realization of their own identity – PRESENCE.🌹🌹🌹

The word, Waheguru – ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ – is pronounced “Wah-hay-guroo.” Wah means Infinite, hay means Thou, and Guru means Higher Self, or the Divine Teacher within each sentient being. This is the mantra which has been lovingly handwritten minutely in the painting to portray the omnipresent Divine energy within.
