I am a sacrifice to Your almighty creative power which is pervading everywhere.
Your limits cannot be known.
– Guru Granth Sahib, p. 469
Does food have power over us or do we allow food do have power over us?
The world belief is that food has power over us; that It can harm us or give us nourishment.
Beyond nutrition, calories, vitamins, and minerals I believe there is more to food.
What if we inject the following thoughts?
Everything is energy, a vibration of ONE – All is One and One is All.
All foods have a vibrational energy, countless vibrations, dancing eternally, vibrating at their own high or low frequency.
It is also known that all phenomena, from the infinitely small to the infinitely big has a specific geometric structure (Sacred Geometry).
What governs all this?
What determines the beautiful geometrical designs witnessed in tomatoes, onions, grapefruits etc.?
Is it possible that the food I eat does not nourish me or harm me but that the consciousness, the soul at the center of my Being gives it its value and imparts to that food the nourishment value that I’m to derive from it?
It is difficult, however, to keep this mindfulness all the time; to remember that the ultimate spiritual food is awareness of the Omnipresent Infinite and nothing else.
How do we develop this Presence?
How do we cultivate and harvest this garden?
Only when we are able to realize that all is ONE – neither good or bad – can we begin to Practice the Presence and ultimately, intuitively, be the Divine Consciousness that we are.
The Waheguru (vwihgurU) mantra written all over these paintings are a testimonial to that very omnipresence.
